Customer Service Complaints

In my opinion, the biggest complaint I see with customer service today is communication. Don’t get me wrong a lot of companies today have automated responses which greatly speeds up the contact process but the communication is lacking. You’re either talking to a robot or someone who doesn’t understand, therefore can’t effectively help.

Example…a few weeks ago I started receiving emails from Google saying they thought I was 13 or younger and they were going to delete my Gmail. I thought it was a scam and ignored it until I got the same email to my other Gmail. I contacted Google. Below is the end of the exchange of 11 emails between the rep and I.

Ok, notice how they automatically assumed everything was fine and I had asked a question? At the point of sending the emails I wasn’t even locked out. Reps with lack of understanding are ruining customer service if you ask me. Most people will just take their business elsewhere as opposed to haggle with the dreaded customer service. Where you push ‘1’ for English and still get someone who has a thick accent. I wonder what would happen if I pressed ‘2’ for Spanish 🤔 I’m going to try it next time lol. I am not being rude or racist here folks. I know everyone needs work but these businesses need to understand how they are hurting themselves by putting folks in a position that ends as lose lose. People should never be placed in areas they are not qualified for that involve communicating with the customer.

Furthermore, about a week and a half later my Gmail was shut down. I did have to verify my DOB even though I’ve had the effin Gmail account over 13 years. I had it back up and running within 12 hours but I had to use a credit card and my work computer to do it, so yeah SUPER ANNOYING.

Not only communication but productivity, well lack therof. Nothing 🔥 me up more than workers so busy on their damn phone they can’t help you. The reason they have a 🤬 paycheck. Or choppin it up with other co workers, their friends or possibly their kids🤯 I have 6-7 dollar stores within a mile and a half from my home(Family and General) and let me say they are the epitome of the term Bullshit. Lawd have mercy, I almost need a shot or 4 of like Fireball or Cognac just to go to these stores. They are the most ghetto, unprofessional, dirty, cluttered, stankin, liable to see a fight and definitely see someone stealing stores I’ve ever been too. The 2 closest to me keep their own hours. The 2 by my job, which are 10 mins from my home, are closed a lot due to being robbed or low on staff. All of them have been updating prices for 2years so your total always ends up being a surprise. I do notice that all dollar stores have this same ‘don’t give a shit’ vibe. Check out the pic I posted below. It’s at one of my neighborhood dollar stores 😒 I think this is ridiculous and gives off extortion vibes😄🥴

Family Dollar out here forcing folks to buy candy bars to get cash back🙄 smh

Now with communication and productivity lacking you ask for the manager. I don’t know where they find these new fangled folks but bayby whew! Their attitude is worse than the horrible rep’s attitude. You call on them to rectify the situation and check their worker but they end up talking more shit than the rep you want to complain about. Ha, it’s wild out here. You would think people would be nicer after being held up in their homes for months due to Covid. And with all these “hiring now” signs you would think we’d be vetting potential candidates a lil better…I’m just sayin🤷🏾‍♀️

I have a 4-step guide that is comprised of all it takes to provide excellent Customer Service. Let me know if you’d like to check it out. Below is the link to my WP blog that I put out earlier this year.
